Free shipping starts at $25, so just add something for a buck or two and you won’t get charged the $33

It’s on sale for about 25 bucks, which for this clock is a good deal, but when you add in the standard shipping, that adds a whopping $33.00 to the final price. So you’re paying $58.00 for a $25.00 clock….what were they thinking? You can probably find this at Fry’s or somewhere else for less money…..

The atomic clock I ordered was a wonderful Christmas gift for family members who “have everything”. It was delivered quickly after I ordered it and packed well so when I reshipped it, the clock arrived safely.

I really like this clock! The larger size not only makes it easier to read but the style is very trendy. It is durable, accurate and quiet. I liked it so well I purchased one as a gift and am going to get an indoor wall clock and an alarm clock for my bedroom.

My area recently suffered a 2-week heavy storm. When the storm came to a short break, I found our La Crosse outdoor clock hanging on our patio wall had fallen to the concrete block floor. The glass was not broken but water had penetrated and the minute hand had come off, and it was no longer working.

Transferring the poor clock to our garage workbench, I carefully disassembled the clock and removed moisture, then restored the minute hand. I replaced the battery with a fresh one, and then, believe or not, the clock reset itself to the starting position (12:00) and later started ticking correct time. Although the outer metal frame had a few minor dents, the clock was absolutely ready to be used again.

Bottom line is, the front glass is installed with a rubber seal, but it did not work well. On the other hand, the screw-in battery/movement compartment cover did its job greatly. Anyway, I love my clock!
